The Blue Stagg is relatively new to Breckenridge, in the space of the long standing Whale’s Tail, the Stagg has filled that void quite well. The best thing about the Blue Stagg is that there is something for everyone. The menu ranges from burger, to pizza, to fancy entrees, everyone in your group will be happy with the food. UPDATE: Recently went back 2/2019 and was very disappointed with the new wings!
The old western saloon style offers great character, charm, and ambiance. The food is always on the spot. Molly generally gets the whimpy burger, Drew goes with wings and pizza. Molly’s dad, Bob had the jalapeno brat, which was so tasty. If you are there in the Summer, sitting on the back deck offers great views of Breckenridge, and if you are really lucky, Luna, the dog will be on the roof. For real.
Great service, Meg at the bar will brighten your day and provide you some tasty cocktails. The Blue Stagg has recently worked its way into my regular rotation for eating. Happy Hour wings are a must after a day out on the trails in Breckenridge.
